Happy DogPosted by Amir (Tehran, Iran) on 2 September 2007 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. Fort Worth, TX This is our dog Akamaru. This picture was noisy despite being beautiful, so I applied noise reduction, but result was not satisfactory, therefore I applied some filters in Photoshop CS3. I first applied "Glowing Edges" then added another layer of "Grayscale" and finally used a bit of "Unsharp Mask" to bring out details. Lost Valley View from Kamloops, (west coast) British Columbia, CanadaInteresting PP!!! It really highlights the dog so very much!! 2 Sep 2007 5:43am @Lost Valley View: Thanks for your visit. @Olaide: I tried, thanks for coming. Maysam from Tehran, IranWOOOOOW 2 Sep 2007 8:48am @Maysam: You so welcome Maysam, glad you liked them. Brian from United StatesWonderful pp! Novel and well-composed...very nice indeed! 2 Sep 2007 11:58am @Brian: Thanks a million Brian. Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesHe looks funny, especially the way his ears are up. I use NR in the camera software, Nikon Capture NX in my case, and that seems to work better than PS NR (supposedly the camera maker does a better job of reducing noise on their own cameras). However, I don't get much NR before the image looks worse than without NR --this equates to a limit of about 20% NR with my software. 2 Sep 2007 3:00pm @Twelvebit: Unfortunatly my Canon does not have any thing of that sort. The noise generated is mostly to user error (me), and that does not happen a lot. Thanks for dropping by. Masume from Zahedan, IranHi Amir, Very unusual Edit But Creative !
