Light TrailPosted by Amir (Tehran, Iran) on 16 September 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. Fort Worth, TX Long shutter speed + Crazy fast car = Light trail Update: I said "Crazy fast car" to see if someone will recognize that this car was not fast at all. If we consider the light trail 20 meters in length and the time 3 seconds in duration then we have: 20m/3sec * 60sec/min * 60min/h * km/1000m = 24km/h The conversion factor between km/h to mph is 0.6214 (1.6 the reverse), therefore we have a car traveling roughly at 14mph and that is not fast at all, in fact this car was anticipating to stop at the traffic light ahead. Have a good day. See the original at Flickr If you find my photos interesting, please take a moment and vote for me at Photoblog Awards. Visit My "TimeLaps/Panorama" Blog, Creative Camera.
