Rebecca from Leicester, United Kingdom

Wow, Amir!! This is another absolutely fabulous piece!! Seriously, I can see this one as a large framed picture on display in a public hall. Really superb work you’ve done to get this absolutely fantastic POV and out-of-this-world effect. Wow, again!!

23 Sep 2007 11:29pm

@Rebecca: I am really glad and thankful to you for your daily support. I really don't think either this picture or my photographic skills deserve such compliments. I do try my best and only post what are the best among few thousands of my collections.

I am always looking forward to your comments.

Bron from Canberra, Australia

This is very unusual, interesting colour Amir - could you explain what IR is for the uninitiated?

24 Sep 2007 12:06am

@Bron: IR is an abbreviation for Infrared. Images taken at between 700 to about 950 nanometer of light spectrum, often invisible to naked eye. I have few shots taken with the same filter/technique that have more detailed description.

Here are some.

700 nm
Winter In Summer
Infrared Reflection
Grass & Trees
Abyss

Bron from Canberra, Australia

Thanks for the explanation and illustrations Amir - a very surrealistic effect indeed! Fascinating. I learn something new each day. Cheers Bron

@Bron: You are welcome.

miu* from GA, United States

Oh....Amir...
I hold my breath....
I can see how blue this sky is!
Beautiful pink trees...I love them.

24 Sep 2007 11:10pm

@miu*: The sky was in fact very blue. Some blue has escaped the IR processing. Thanks For your visit.
