Out OF Frame Beast

I know is not a clean image but I wanted to show you an example of "image jump out of frame effect". This image is an HDR to begin with, plus I have managed to make it appear that it's coming out of it frame at you.

Update:

I did not anticipate this much interest in making of this image, so I did not post the steps. But if you want to know, here we go.

You need Photoshop or some similar photo editing software. You also need to have some basing editing skills, such as layers, transformation, isolation of image and so on.

Before we start we need to select the right image, an image that has its main element coming out at the viewer, a landscape with no 3D element is a no go.

First open your image then resize it to your preferred dimension. Now we need to duplicate our image (image layer) by going to Layer > Duplicate Layer. Now we work on the new duplicate layer.

Now we need to isolate our element, in this case, this bumperless Ford. I used Magnetic Lasso Tool. This step needs experience. Play around and you will get it in no time.

Once the element is all selected right click on it and select "Layer Via Cut". This will remove the element and put it into its own layer. Now delete the duplicated image, we no longer need it. We now have the original image and the isolated element on its own layer.

At this stage add another layer and fill it with the color of your choice and put it under all the other layer (bottom layer). This layer will become our background, in this case is black.

Now we need to select the original image and go to Edit > Transform > Distort. Now you can hold the corners of image and give it a 3D look. This step is extremely up to you and your creative mind, you have to try it to get it right.

The last part is framing and you are good to go. Don't forget to clean the image if needs be.
