Fallen BlossomsPosted by Amir (Tehran, Iran) on 23 October 2007 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. Pasadena, CA Our world is very beautiful while at the same time very cruel. Look at these short-lived blossoms, they are so beautiful but they have fallen. See the original at Flickr If you find my photos interesting, please take a moment and vote for me at Photoblog Awards. Reza from Montreal, CanadaI wonder where you were to take this pic. Above the tree? ;) 23 Oct 2007 6:34pm @Reza: Lol, that's funny. No I was on Terra Firma @Mingo: Thanks Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomYeah, but even fallen, they make a beautiful display. This is a lovely shot, the sort of thing I'm always on the look out for, so great that you posted it for us all to see 23 Oct 2007 7:14pm @Richard_Irwin: This is kind of old shot. But I wanted to share. Thanks for visiting Quintino from Joane, PortugalMost certainly one of the most beautiful photos I've seen lately! 5*****'s 23 Oct 2007 8:21pm @Quintino: Thanks a lot Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomI love this composition with the contrasting textures and tones. You have put it together so superbly, Amir! It is especially laudable that you spotted these beautiful pinks and greens on the background of this rich combination of brown tones – solid mature brown trunk, light brown soil, and beautifully patterned brown grating. It really is a sight to behold and ponder. I do feel the sense of sadness with you at the short-lived span of these beautiful blossoms. And the wider observation that you have drawn on the state of our world, beautiful yet with capacity for such cruelty, is spot-on, my friend. Thank you, so much, dear friend, for your deeper and brave views of life, and reminder of such realities, that help us to keep sober and keep endeavouring towards the right and true things in life. 23 Oct 2007 8:32pm @Rebecca: Amazing observations. I am always thrilled to see your comments. People usually say: wonderful, nice shot, good work and you say a lot more about a simple image such as this. I am thankful Rebecca @HorseRotorVator: Thanks @Vicki: Thanks dear MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomWonderful patterns and and shapes, a beautiful compositon! 23 Oct 2007 10:12pm @MaryB: Thanks a lot for stopping by Wolfgang Prigge from CanadaWell, your blog's name persianking, and the grille looks oriental... 23 Oct 2007 10:32pm @Wolfgang Prigge: I see what you're saying now, thanks for explaining eddie from United StatesYour work is evolving Amir... becoming more artistic every day..this is very nice! congrat's. e (the cliffwalk) 24 Oct 2007 4:21am @eddie: Thanks a lot for your kind words.
