Gateway To PurgatoryPosted by Amir (Tehran, Iran) on 30 October 2007 in Architecture and Portfolio. Fort Worth, TX Purgatory, a transitional world between Heaven and Hell, where judgment passed upon all those that once stood foot on Earth. If you have not red Dante's Divine Comedy, I highly recommend it. It's a master piece. I particularly love the texas stars. I will also make it a point to read The Divine Comedy. 30 Oct 2007 10:14pm @Rags: So you have red it Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomWow, I think far abler photographers have said it here already. Technically perfect work here, Amir. It’s a feast for the eyes, in every way. And your narrative. I have to say Wow again. You are very well-read, dear friend. A close friend of mine in Singapore has a deep interest in Dante and based her doctoral research (in literature) on him. She knows a lot more about Dante’s life and work than I do. Till now, I have only been able to skim and read summaries of The Divine Comedy, like this one you’ve linked us to, and chat with her every now and then about such things. But what I do know is your work here, on this site, this, my friend, is a masterpiece. Everyday, each of your photos and posts, you are writing a masterpiece. I am not joking. Put it together, and see it for what it is, Amir. The photos you post, and your precious thoughts accompanying each one, this is the masterpiece. Seriously, if ever you decide to publish these in a book, tell me please. I’ll definitely buy one (probably more than one, actually). 31 Oct 2007 2:55am @Rebecca: While I deeply thank you for what you have described my word with, I really don't think my work is that much special. There are many more talented photographers on Animus that put my photos to shame any moment. Again I am thankful beyond limit Takiyah from Snellville, United StatesGreat shot, the color tones are awesome Amir:) 31 Oct 2007 3:04am @Takiyah: Thanks a lot dear Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesMy favorite part of the image is the texture of the door. 31 Oct 2007 1:49pm @Twelvebit: Thanks a lot. The door indeed looks medieval |
