@Rags: Thanks dear, it's just some brush touch-ups e. from Washington DC, United StatesWow, even though that's just a statue, it still looks ferocious. 31 Oct 2007 5:26am @e.: Yes indeed @M.E.: Thanks dear, but it's a semi desaturated HDR not a sepia Mandy from South AfricaQuite a menacing looking Longhorn!!! Great capture Amir - happy halloween! 31 Oct 2007 7:12am @Mandy: Happy Halloween to you too Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesQuite the effective scary rendition of a Texas Longhorn. Perfect for enjoying Halloween, with a Texas flair. 31 Oct 2007 12:10pm @Viewfinder: Thanks and same to you Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesIf you say so. But as others have noted, this representation has connotations beyond cattle or UT, Austin. I can't help but wonder if there is something more to this figure. There are a lot of weird buildings and ornamental building figures in this state. The top of the Frost Building in Austin is designed to look like an owl; and I posted an image awhile back of a building in Houston manifesting a more abstracted owl motif. 31 Oct 2007 1:54pm @Twelvebit: Thanks for pointing it out. I have seen a lot of those buildings here in northern Texas. Lots of craftsmanship has gone to them @Quintino: Thanks a lot dear @Wolfgang Prigge: Thanks @Reza: Thanks amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaIt has a devilish appearance to me.. looks like a ramshead from this angle. Great pov and love the pp!! 1 Nov 2007 12:19am @amy: It certainly does. Thanks Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomA mighty and striking image. The perspective is terrific, and the detail and tones have the feel of the classic about them. Somehow a really fitting tribute to the Halloween of today. May I also say thank you so much for your truly kind and generous words on my blog today, dear friend. Coming from you, whose work I greatly admire, it especially means a lot, Amir. Heartfelt thanks a million for all your kind encouragement. God bless you and 'Happy Halloween' to you too, my dear friend. 1 Nov 2007 12:55am @Rebecca: Thanks dearest Rebecca.
