Aging Graffiti

Posted by Amir (Tehran, Iran) on 18 November 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

Dallas, TX

Based on on friends Dimitrios's suggestion regarding graffiti days (November 17-18).

Taken at downtown Dallas. Some winged apples or a wall that no longer welcomes them.

Dallas has some really cool graffiti! I like your inclusion of the old building as well as the new.

Yes, I do too like how you included the whole picture... as in the other buildings and the aging graffiti!! Nicely done, Amir!!!

I do love the stark, stark contrast here between the modern 'state-of-the-art' skyscrapers and the peeling, neglected wall, dear Amir. A very telling sign indeed of the link between graffiti and the down-and-out in our society. And the grievous lack of adequate help from society at large. This is yet another truly outstanding piece from you that conveys so much that is important, dear friend.

May I say thank you so much too for your kind and insightful comment at my blog today. I appreciate it. :)
