What makes this shot is the line of people at the bottom. I presume they are lined up to give their money to the Disney Corporation. If so, it's a sad commentary on our consumer culture. I can understand a bread line, I can't understand the notion of standing in line to give some big company my money for something I don't need. Perhaps it is a reaction to my time in the military, but I will not stand in line for anything unless I am forced to, and I most especially will not stand in line to give someone else my money.

@Twelvebit: Well one of Hollywood's famous theater is located right next to Disney store and I believe that long line is ticket line for a movie. But that particular Disney store is always crowded like hell.

Disney Corporation sure knows how to market.
Very cool shot.

I agree with those above. This is a fantastic image of people who seem so totally sold on Disney Corporation’s marketing of their products that they seem to be descending into a way of living almost as unreal and untenable as the make-believe imaginary characters on the sign. Truly exceptional work again, dear Amir. I love it.

@Rebecca: Thanks dear Rebecca, your comments always enlighten my day

they're just trying to buy a bit of happiness for their kids. Cool framing.

@Hamid: May be that is true as well. Most people buy happiness or get by everyday just by spending money and buying something they did not need in the first place.
