A very interesting photo, peaceful but at the same time a little sad, although the blooming tree promisses appy times to come. All the best to you in 2008!

Simple it may be, but so full of meaning and beautiful. It speaks volumes, dear Amir. Perfect for this new year, as we reflect on the past and all we have to learn from it, and look to the future with hope of new growth and flowering. Very happy new year to you and yours once again, and warmest wishes, dear friend.

So, how was California? I was born there but haven't been there in a long time. Nice composition btw.

@Twelvebit: You should allocate some time and go to your birth place. California is the richest and most populated state in the union for a reason. It's beautiful, it's accommodating and it's well just everything people look for. The down side is that is expensive.

I lived in California for over 7 years and that was some of my best years in life

I have been back --it's been over ten years though now-- to the San Diego area. I loved it, but as you say, it is extremely expensive. If the house I live in here was in California I couldn't afford it. In other words, to live there, I'd half to live like someone lives here on about 1/3 of my income.
