The IslandPosted by Amir (Tehran, Iran) on 10 May 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Fort Worth, TX Image composed of five exposures taken during night time. Long time ago I posted the same shot but with regular (one) exposure. See it for yourself. There is a big difference. Worth mentioning that this shot was taken around 10 pm. You are smart to use the elements to your advantage to create a most stunning composition. Very inspirational. 10 May 2008 10:28pm danthro from Suburbia, United Statesneat night shot and cool reflection. that green light makes it a bit eerie 11 May 2008 12:20am Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesThank you for the info... now maybe we'll find out how you do these! 11 May 2008 11:50am Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesI'm working through these backwards, and here too, I think you're making this place look much better than it really is. Sort of like the way the world should look, versus the way it is. My only criticism is that the slight haloing around the trees would be considered a sign of pushing the process a little too far by most of the hdr groups on flickr. In fact, I've had images pulled from places like JPG Mag for just such haloing --though in the end, it's really a matter of taste. 12 May 2008 4:34pm @Twelvebit: Yea, I noticed it as well. But as you said it's the matter of taste. I some how like heavy processed HDR image. |
