Happy 30th Birthday Iran

Our beloved Iran had a revolution 30 years ago. As with any other revolution it was with best of intentions. Today Iran has come a long way. Has managed to gain it's status as a power and stop being a puppet of east and west, scientifically progressed beyond recognition and is one the 20 largest economies on Earth.

A country with over 3000 years of written history and 71 million people should gain it's former glory once again. Pray for us to be friend with others and help for the betterment of the world as a whole.

Unfortunately, the Iranian people may become a victim of the West. I'm reminded of Gandhi's comment about Western Civilization: it sounds like a good idea, we should try it. Have you seen the movie Persepolis?

@Twelvebit: I just watched this movie/animation. I should say that it was 50% truth and 50% communist propaganda. I lived through that era and certainly can connect with some of it. The message set was not a complete one.
