GMC Denali

While American car industry is struggling for its very survival, It's prudent to point out why it's in such a position today.

They are simply large, often luxurious, expensive, gas guzzling vehicles like this Yukan Denali. They simply are cool to drive, and I assume safe as well; But in this global economy with ever decreasing natural resources coupled with increasing human populations, strong competition with Japanese and European car makers, they can not survive on their current model of business.

Despite that they are cool to photograph.

I have some sympathy for the workers, NONE for management. The car company management may not be criminal to the same extent the banksters are, but they have no business running car companies. Certainly the companies should get no assistance from the government as long as the current management is left in charge.

Demented colors! I like it very much! ;-) The trunk of the tree was worth retaining in the picture.
